Cloudrunner: HO-Scale City
Meet Cloudrunner — a full HO-scale city. From train systems to street and traffic lights, we built it all. This project was done at the Lancaster Career and Technology Center in my Computer Networking and Security class. We — and when I say we, I mean me, my instructor, peers, and about 11 other programs — collaborated to build this fully functional, totally hackable smart city. This was a last-minute idea back in November 2024, and by April, Cloudrunner was alive. I’m proud not just to have been part of this project, but to be one of its key contributors. I believe we were the only high school program in the nation to pull off something of this scale. Now to top this project... well, I’ve got some plans for a POS system-based cyber retail simulation. Oh — and no city’s complete without a 50lb 3D-printed Godzilla. We got that too.
